To Africa: A Journal
From July 16 to August 3, 2005, my wife Susan and I were as far away
from home as we had ever been. Venturing first to Kenya, Nairobi
served as a hub from which we discovered Rwanda and Tanzania.
It was a spectacular and perception-changing journey. It was our honeymoon. It was the realization of a dream I never thought would become reality. And the reality of our travels in these East African countries can be found in the journal entries that follow.
